INSPIRE Elevation (el-vec) Iceland
ELF Elevation (EL) Iceland is one of 12 themes in the European Location Project (ELF).
The purpose of ELF is to create harmonised cross-border, cross-theme and cross-resolution pan-European reference data from national contributions. The goal is to provide INSPIRE-compliant data for Europe.

The dataset is migrated from the Icelandic national dataset „LMÍ IS 50V Hæðarlínur“, which is at the scale 1:50.000. The elevation data contain both line and point layers. In the is50v_haedarlinur layer both 20 metre and 100 metre contour lines are shown. In several places there are also 10 metre contour lines.
The processing steps: Feature mapping from the national datamodel to the INSPIRE datamodel. A python program build to migrate the national data according to the feature mapping.
